The FSA 30 is the first battery-powered grass trimmer in the STIHL AS System of battery-powered garden tools. Extremely lightweight and very quiet, this grass trimmer is perfect for trimming lawn edges and around obstacles in smaller gardens.
Full of features that make your life easier when trimming the grass, the FSA 30 can be fully adjusted to suit you. It’s quick and simple to adjust the length of the shaft, the angle of the mowing head and the angle of the loop handle too. The adjustable angle of the mowing head is particularly useful if you are trimming along the edges of a flower bed or border, and the FSA 30 also has a spacer bracket for mowing around trees and obstacles.
The FSA 30 comes with a PolyCut 3-2 mowing head, which uses two polymer blades that just hook on to the mowing head, which means it takes just seconds to replace them when they are worn out. You can extend the life of the blades by soaking them in water overnight before first using them though. It is possible to fit an AutoCut 3-2 mowing head to the FSA 30 as well, which uses mowing line instead of the PolyCut blades, although this will shorten the battery working time.
